Schust Moves to New Location

We are excited to announce that Schust has moved to a new location in Auburn, Indiana.  We are proud of the high standard of service that you have come to expect from Schust and knew a move was necessary as we continue to grow.  Despite the pandemic, it was critical to our business to find a location where we could centralize the three Indiana offices into one.  The offices also did not allow for adding employees to support growing workloads.  The new office space is plenty large to accommodate our current and future staffing needs for years to come.

There were three motivating factors that convinced us a move was necessary.

  1. TEAMWORK AND EFFICIENCY. More and more our team was spending too much time driving between offices to work on projects. While we took advantage of web conferencing tools as much as possible, it’s not the same as gathering the team around drawings to collaborate and design a successful ventilation system.  The great news was that we didn’t move too far.  The new office location has easy on and off highway access.

  1. EXPANDED OFFERING. The Fort Wayne manufacturing facility was quickly becoming too small and left us looking to outsource more manufacturing than we wanted.  One of the many traits that make Schust different is our in-house capabilities.  Now Schust manufacturing is centrally located in our large shop located in Willow Springs, Missouri.  The facility was designed with manufacturing space capable of making large duct for ventilation, baghouses as well as a much larger new paint and blast room.  Schust now has even greater manufacturing capabilities that are performed by many more certified welders.

  1. PROVIDE VALUE. Maintaining separate offices is a strain on resources.  Centralizing the offices helps ensure our clients get the greatest value.  Challenges with the supply chains have put a strain on everyone and experts are saying we will not see any sign of improvement until at least 2023.  As all strong companies do, we looked at what we could do to align with our commitment to our clients to deliver the best cost-effective ventilation solutions.

It’s been an exciting summer as we finalized the finishing touches and start a new chapter at Schust.  The entire Schust team will be moved into the building the week of October 11, 2021.  We’ll spend the next several weeks getting settled and have asked the Dekalb Chamber Partnership to host a ribbon-cutting.  An open house is planned for clients and vendors around the holiday season to celebrate.
